meet the founder
CITIZEN, LAWMAN, CONSTITUTIONALIST.
BLO Founder and Lead Instructor, Ben Noble, is a native of Rogers County, OK, husband of 16 years to his high school sweetheart, Sarah, and father to Michael, John, and Annie. Ben is a 14-year law enforcement veteran, former private security professional, and weapons/shooting enthusiast. Ben has been a law enforcement instructor for 12 years, teaching everything from basic administrative duties to Search Warrant Preparation/Execution, Special Tactics, Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Investigation, Less Lethal Weapons, Firearms, and more. Ben has navigated his law enforcement career through Municipalities, County Sheriffs, and now the State Police, also holding credentials as a Task Force Officer with Department of Homeland Security Investigations and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
During his career, Ben began to notice a need in the community, summarized in this way: The police are by and large good men and women who do their job with honor, but they simply aren’t enough. Your protection is your responsibility. Ben sought to bring quality training and support to the armed citizenry to fill that gap as the criminal element, as well as the tyrannical nature of some government officials and groups, only continues to become more pervasive.
The constitutional right and responsibility of Americans to secure themselves, their loved ones, and their way of life is paramount, and Ben and Black Lab Operations sees an opportunity to grow that cause. Join us.
“Be Safe. Be Dangerous.” -Ben Noble
